Home Repair Program

Habitat offers reduced cost repairs to low-income local homeowners to make their homes

accessible, livable, energy-efficient, and safe. 

​

Home repairs include exterior painting and weatherization, roof repairs, improving handicapped accessibility, and more.

Requirements

​​

  • Family income must be below 60% of Area Median Income:

    • ​1 person $30,420​

    • 2 person $34,800

    • 3 person $39,120

    • 4 person $43,440

    • 5 person $46,920

    • 6 person $50,400

    • 7 person  $53,880

    • 8 person $57,360

​

  • Applicants must own and reside in the home. Rental properties are not eligible.  

​

  • Mobile homes are considered as long as the applicant owns the home.

​

  • Homeowners must complete Home Repair Application and provide required documentation.

​​

  • Homeowners must provide sweat equity.  You and your friends and family must help with the work and/or provide meals for volunteers.

​​​

  • Homeowners must make an up-front payment (sliding scale, based on income) to help cover the cost of repairs before work can begin.
