Corporate partners work hand-in-hand with Rockbridge Habitat to provide decent, affordable shelter to families in need. In return, we provide our partners with a wealth of benefits, including public relations, tax deductions and a positive effect on company morale.
Our Team Builder Program offers an opportunity for your employees to take a day off from day-to-day responsibilities to work as a build team at our construction site. (You may also invite clients and staff families to participate.) While building a home for a deserving local family, your employees will also be building interpersonal and organizational skills.
In addition to learning building skills (no prior experience is necessary), our veteran team building facilitator will conduct exercises in trust, accountability, creative problem solving, integrity, support, quality performance, and other skills that will enhance your staff's job performance and satisfaction.
To reserve a Team Build, companies or organizations provide a minimum suggested donation of $1,500 per day (2 shifts) and typically send 8 volunteers for each shift. This donation helps offset the cost of land, infrastructure and building materials and enables Habitat to continue to build and serve more families.
