NAP Credits are Here!
With your past gift(s), you’ve given a resounding “YES!” in answer to the question, “Does everyone deserve a decent place to live?”
RAHfH would like to include you in the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) in 2020. Last year, contributions helped rehabilitate a home for the Floyd family and build homes for the Lewis, Martinez, and Martinez families.
A new year of benefits is here along with the affordable housing needs of four new families. These families live in overcrowded situations, houses with poor structural conditions and more. Each household has at least one employed member, but typical mortgages are out of reach. In partnership with Rockbridge Area Habitat, they work hard to complete 200 hours of sweat equity per adult, as you know. Even with the homebuyers’ determination, a new home isn’t possible without donors like you.
Your renewed support provides the building materials for the new homes they’re building. And, in the end, it promotes the strength, stability and self-reliance that safe, affordable housing provides.
Once again, NAP tax credits are now available for donations of $500 or more. Prior to making a donation, please consult with us to ensure the availability of NAP tax credits. The minimum $500 donation requirement must be met between July 1 and December 31.
How Do You Participate? Make payment by check or on line as we are unable to hold any credits. You will receive a Contribution Notification Form in the mail along with your thank you letter. You must return the form, completed and signed, before you are considered for the credit.
Please consider making a donation in order to build the kind of community where everyone has the opportunity to build a better life.
