Home Repair Program

Habitat offers reduced-cost repairs to low-income local homeowners to make their homes

accessible, livable, energy-efficient, and safe. 

​

Home repairs include exterior painting and weatherization, roof repairs, improving handicapped accessibility, and more.

Requirements

Family income must be below 60% of Area Median Income:

• Applicants must own and reside in the home. Rental properties are not eligible.  

​

• Mobile homes are considered as long as the applicant owns the home.

​

• Homeowners must complete Home Repair Application and provide required documentation.

​​

• Homeowners must provide sweat equity.  You and your friends and family must help with the work and/or provide meals for volunteers.

​​​

• Homeowners must make an up-front payment (sliding scale, based on income) to help cover the cost of repairs before work can begin.​
