Habitat offers reduced cost repairs to low-income local homeowners to make their homes
accessible, livable, energy-efficient, and safe.

Home repairs include exterior painting and weatherization, roof repairs, improving handicapped accessibility, and more.

Requirements

Family income must be below 60% of Area Median Income:

Applicants must own and reside in the home. Rental properties are not eligible.

Mobile homes are considered as long as the applicant owns the home.

Homeowners must complete Home Repair Application and provide required documentation.

Homeowners must provide sweat equity. You and your friends and family must help with the work and/or provide meals for volunteers.

Homeowners must make an up-front payment (sliding scale, based on income) to help cover the cost of repairs before work can begin.
