You May Qualify to Buy A
New Home With Habitat!

Habitat offers a hand up - not a handout. Habitat looks at three main factors when choosing partner families:

1
Need for Housing
Is your current housing run down, overcrowded, or is the rent too high?
2
Ability to pay a monthly mortgage
You must have steady income and good credit to qualify for a low-interest loan. Your family income must also meet HUD income guidelines:

Income Range

$30,000-$48,000

$34,300-$54,850

$38,600-$61,700

$42,850-$68,550

$46,300-$74,050

$49,750-$79,550

Credit problems? Habitat can help you to get your finances under control!

Mortgage payments for a Habitat home are often less than rent.

3
Willingness to Partner with Habitat
Your family and Habitat will become a team. You must be willing to help build your house, attend classes, and provide necessary information when needed.
